Am I In Bizarro World???

I really didn't want to get to deep into any topic tonight because last nights topic was maybe a little over the top for some of you. Unfortunately Mexican President Felipe Calderon has forced my hand and my emotions. Calderon, along with the pacifist in the White House and Congress are on the hot seat tonight!

Quite frankly I'm a little pissed off. Who does President Calderon think he is? He walks onto the South lawn of the White House yesterday and criticizes Arizona's recently enacted immigration law. Then today he has the stones to walk in OUR CAPITAL BUILDING and LECTURE Congress and the American people on immigration. Um hello...This is the pot calling, can the kettle please pick up the black courtesy phone! What the heck is wrong with this guy? Has President Calderon looked at his own immigration laws? Maybe he better know his own laws before he lectures OUR COUNTRY. What a jack bag he is!

Speaking of Mexican immigration laws lets look at them right now...

Did you know that if you are found to be an illegal immigrant IN MEXICO you can be arrested? You also have no rights to due process. In addition you can be deported and if you are then caught trying to get back in to Mexico again you can be jailed for up to 10 years. I'll bet that the Mexican military makes sure that their Southern border is secure. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. Furthermore President Calderon had the nerve to ask for our Congress to implement the assault weapons ban. In essence he was basically telling our Congress that they need to repeal the 2nd Amendment. The reason he claims this is necessary is because he cannot stop the violence that is taking place in his country and he claims that it is because of weapons coming from our country. He went on to say that he can't stop the flow of illegal narcotics into our country unless we reduce the demand in OUR country. So let me get this straight...It's our fault that weapons are flowing into his country because THEY have a demand for them. And it's also our fault that narcotics are flowing out of Mexico due to OUR demand for them. Here's a thought for Mexico...Why don't you reduce the demand of weapons in YOUR country. We have the 2nd amendment for a reason and that is not only to protect our homes and property from bad guys but also to protect us from an over reaching government.

Bottom line is this...There is a public safety and ecomomical concern taking place on the U.S. and Mexico border. Why don't President Calderon mind his own business and take care of things on his side of the fence instead of telling us how to take care of our side of the fence. Maybe he can tell President Obama how to do things since he can't seem to get anything done right himself. But don't you DARE walk into our Capital and lecture our Congress on a law that has been implemented by a sovreign state. Arizona was perfectly within their rights to enact the new law. Especially since the law is already a Federal law and just isn't enforced. I'm all for the state enforcing the law if the federal goverment doesn't. The more and more the establishment keeps bashing Arizona the more strength that they get for their position. I wouldn't be suprised to hear calls for succession in Arizona.

With all of that in mind what was even more offensive is the fact that Obama and his minions in Congress stood up and applauded Calderon while he effectively slammed Arizona and our laws in our OWN CAPITAL and on the South Lawn of the PEOPLE'S house. A couple of the ones who stood up and applauded included Attorney General Eric Holder and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napalitano who both have admitted that they haven't read the Arizona law.

Where has the pride in our country gone? Do we have to appease every other country on this planet to the point that anyone can come in and say whatever they want about our country? What's next, Hugo Chavez and Kim Jong Ill speaking before our Congress? Maybe we should have Mahmound Ahmadinejad over for a state dinner at the White House. This administration has their nose stuck so far up other world leaders backsides that it will take a crow bar to get them loose. I can think of some past American presidents and patriots that would have probably kicked Calderon's rear end all over the South lawn for his comments.

The bottom line is this...This administration needs to grow a set and take care of their Constitutional obligations to the states and the American people. This administration may not have a set but there are many people in this country that do and they are ready to take this country back.
